Milbon’s industry-leading scientists discovered Micro SSVs (Stick-Shape Voids) four years after their initial discovery of SSVs, which are hollow, tubular gaps that form in chemically treated hair. As the natural proteins and lipids are further depleted, Micro SSVs gradually evolve into fully developed SSVs.

With this discovery in mind, we’ve created formulas in the Gold Line that can more effectively prevent the onset of more significant damage—targeting Micro SSVs before they get bigger. The Gold Line uses SSVR-Collagen in addition to SSVR-Silk to dramatically transform and repair hair to a more pristine condition.
